About the event

A practical, relatable workshop for all types of rural responders - fire, EMS, law enforcement, and dispatch - focused on the real impacts of stress and cumulative trauma in the field. We'll explore how stress affects your brain and body, how to recognize when you’ve hit your limit, and what actually works to reset. Designed with rural realities in mind, this is not therapy - it’s a straight-talking, tools-based conversation about staying well in the work.

Participants will leave with:

A clearer understanding of how stress impacts performance, health & home life

Practical, science-backed tools for resetting the nervous system

Tools to use after difficult calls

A printed resource sheet to take home
